Year of
St. Joseph

December 8, 2020 – December 8, 2021

In honor of the 150th anniversary of St. Joseph’s proclamation as the patron of the Universal Church, Pope Francis has declared a Year of St. Joseph!

During this year, we will honor St. Joseph as the guardian and protector of the church and her faithful, growing ever closer to him as a parish family and in our own families—by honoring him, imitating his virtues and seeking his intersession.

We Celebrate:

Joseph the Father

A loving protector of his family, entrusted with God’s only Son.

Joseph the Worker

A model for using our God-given talents, to create and provide.

Joseph the Husband

A devoted and supportive spouse, fully honoring the will of God.

“Saint Joseph was a just man, a tireless worker, the upright guardian of those entrusted to his care. May he always guard, protect and enlighten families.”

– Pope John Paul II

Act of Consecration to St. Joseph

O dearest St. Joseph, I consecrate myself to your honor and give myself to you, that you may always be my father, my protector and my guide in the way of salvation. Obtain for me a greater purity of heart and fervent love of the interior life. After your example may I do all my actions for the greater glory of God, in union with the Divine Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. O Blessed St. Joseph, pray for me, that I may share in the peace and joy of your holy death. Amen
