‘Tis the season to give.
One of our favorite seasonal outreach opportunities, the Giving Tree provides parishioners with the opportunity to brighten Christmas for others.
At the start of the Christmas season, a traditional Christmas tree is placed in the rear of our church, ornamented with various paper shapes, each bearing the age and gender of an individual.
Parishioners are asked to remove an ornament and purchase a gift for that individual to open come Christmas. Purchased gifts are brought to Mass and placed beneath the tree.
Along with the happiness it brings to a number of children and families, the Giving Tree calls to mind the central reason for the Christmas season. The Giving Tree re-aligns the communal perspective of Christmas within our parish, focusing on our Lord rather than the cultural phenomena of commercialism and indulgence.
For more information or to help with wrapping, transporting or delivering gifts, contact our parish office at 610-647-2345.
Christmas Blessings for Those in Need – Adopt a Child
St. Patrick Parish assists families and children by collecting and distributing special Christmas gifts for those in need as part of our Adopt a Child Christmas Program.
If you would like to adopt a child for Christmas by purchasing Christmas gifts from their “wish list”, please contact the parish office at 610-647-2345.
If you cannot adopt a child, but would like to help out a needy child in another way, consider taking a tag off the Giving Tree in the back of the church, and making the purchase for the child on the tag.
Gifts to the Homebound
Join us as we share the joy of Christmas with our homebound parishioners. A brief visit and a gift, provided by the Outreach Program, will provide love and happiness to fellow parishioners.
Thank you for your generosity—you make the difference in your parish and community!
