Reclaiming Our Inheritance: Faith Formation Program Directed by Fr. Arul
We all live very busy lives. Often we can feel as though there are not enough hours in a day to do all the things that we want to do. Perhaps that is because we forget who we are and the purpose of our lives.
As Jesus reminded the Scribes and Pharisees, “What good would it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?” Matt.16:26. No matter how faithful we may be to the practice of the faith, we can take for granted the gifts God has given us in Jesus or even turn a deaf ear to His call for conversion. We may be convinced that we have nothing more to do when it comes to our faith.
However, each of us needs to Reclaim our Inheritance. Reclaiming our Inheritance is a self-journey. A journey that fills our daily life with meaning, joy, purpose, love and mercy.
No one can make this journey on my behalf. It is my journey to Christ.
The program will take place Tuesdays during Lent:
- February 16th
- February 23rd
- March 1st
- March 8th
- March 15th
The Adult Faith Formation Program – Reclaiming our Inheritance will examine:
- The two accounts of creation
- Who we are
- Who we have become
- How we have become God’s children through Christ Jesus
- The Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist and Reconciliation.
God has freely given us his love and mercy; it has not been forced upon us. So, with total freedom we must consciously claim these gifts for ourselves.
Take the first step today and open your heart to experience the joy of the journey. “Reclaim Your Inheritance” and sign up today!
More details can be found in the Church bulletin. Registration will be available following Sunday Masses starting the week of February 6th and 7th or by contacting Dan Milani via email or phone: 610-647-2345 x120.
