Parish Pilgrimage to the National Centre for Padre Pio

October 21, 2018
All Day

All are invited to travel to the nation’s premier site dedicated to the life and spirituality of Saint Padre Pio. The first priest in history to bear the stigmata, or the wounds of Christ, Padre Pio is one of the most celebrated saints of the 20th century.

Join members of the St. Patrick community as we visit the National Centre for Padre Pio in Barto, PA, a beautiful site built to resemble the Italian monastery where Padre Pio once lived. The peaceful grounds are a refuge filled with shrines, chapels, and Catholic artwork dedicated to Padre Pio’s life, work, and service to others.

We will depart for the National Centre immediately following the 12 p.m. Mass, and will return that evening around 7:30 p.m. Our group will stop for dinner on our way back to Malvern.
