Defend human life, from conception to natural death.

The Pro-Life Committee is the inter-parish group dedicated to organizing all life related functions within the St. Patrick Community, including trips to national pro-life events, parish fundraisers, awareness activities, and more.

Speak for those who go unheard by educating and motivating the parish community regarding all aspects of human life, from the moment of conception, to the moment of a natural death.

Pro-Life Activities/Groups include:

  • Chaplet of Divine Mercy for pro-life intentions is prayed after the 6:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. weekday Masses at St. Patrick Church.
  • Helpers of God’s Precious Infants – Pro-life Mass at 8:00 a.m., St. Agnes Church, West Chester held on the 1st Saturday of every month, followed by a recitation of rosary outside of West Chester Planned Parenthood for an end to the abortions performed at that facility. Afterwards, a meeting is held at the St. Agnes cafeteria to discuss current pro-life events, legislation, etc.
  • 40 Days for Life – A national campaign held every spring and fall consisting of prayer, fasting & witness for an end to abortion. Focus in Chester County, PA is a 40-day vigil of prayer outside of West Chester Planned Parenthood for an end to the abortions performed at that facility. Fall campaign is September 22 – October 31.
  • Life Chain – National campaign of public witness held on the first Sunday in October. Pro-lifers stand for an hour on Lancaster Avenue in Paoli holding pro-life signs.
  • March for Life – Annual march in Washington, DC on the anniversary of Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion in the US. To be held Friday, January 21, 2022.
