Surrounded by Love

A product of hands, a comfort to hearts, prayer shawls, also called prayer blankets, serve as a reminder of the commitment our parishioners have to one another, and the unbreakable bond of human support encircling those in need. Skilled knitters and caring disciples, the makers of shawls pray for each and every recipient from start to finish. Recipients include those in need of comfort for any reason, including serious illness, loss, loneliness, stress or sorrow.

Join members of our parish in knitting and crocheting these priceless reflections of love. The gift of a prayer blanket means much more than hours of work. It signifies the deeper bond that connects the members of our parish, and repeated heartfelt prayer.

Our Parish Prayer Blanket Ministry crochets and knits for the patients of Paoli Cancer center on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 10 AM at the Fireplace Lounge in Wegmans.
