St. Patrick School has fostered the spiritual and scholastic growth of students since its 1954 inception. The St. Patrick Church Community is characterized by a large number of young children, with twice the number of children from infancy to six years of age than those from seven years of age to adulthood. Thus, a strong K-8 education built on Christian principles is a natural extension of the overarching mission of St. Patrick Parish to foster the spiritual formation of parishioners and the world abroad.
Governed by the fundamental truth that faith and character must be shaped during the most receptive years of life, St. Patrick provides a supportive environment where the heart is formed, the mind is enlightened and the soul is nurtured. The convergence of Strong Academics and Spiritual Formation instills within students an unshakable foundation for personal achievement as well as a sense of greater purpose.
As a school in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, St. Patrick School adheres to nationally recognized standards of excellence, while maintaining a constant focus on the values and teachings of Jesus Christ. With standardize test scores that far surpass Archdiocesan school and national averages, a St. Patrick education recognizes and fully develops each child’s academic potential. More important still is the sense of identity that each student develops, as a Child of God with a unique set of gifts and talents, intended for sharing with the world.
