Walking with Purpose: Fall 2016

Are you interested in getting together with a group of women to explore your faith? Would you like to see how the scriptures apply to your everyday life? If so, we invite you to consider joining Walking with Purpose.

Walking with Purpose

Walking with Purpose (WWP) is a weekly reflection that aims to bring women to a deeper personal relationship with Christ. Through personal study and small group discussions, the experience helps to link our everyday challenges and struggles to the solutions given to us through the teachings of Christ and the Church.

Our Morning sessions scheduled from 9:45-11:15 will begin September 20th and will run for 22 weeks. Our Thursday evening sessions scheduled from 7:00-8:30 will begin on September 22nd. If you’d like more information send us an email at: StPatsWWP@gmail.com .

Opening Your Heart: The Starting Point

OYH-cover-ART-FINAL-232x300Opening Your Heart: The Starting Point is our foundational course, designed for women who are new to Walking with Purpose as well as those with more experience in Bible Study! Join us as we take a deeper dive into the core questions that we need to wrestle with if we want to experience all that God has for us.

Some of the questions we’ll explore:

  • How can I conquer my fears?
  • What is the role of the Holy Spirit in my life?
  • What does the Eucharist have to do with my friendship with Christ?
  • What are the limits of Christ’s forgiveness?
  • Why and how should I pray?
  • What is the role of suffering in my life?
  • What challenges will I face in my efforts to follow Jesus more closely?

A DVD series on Priorities complements the course. Immensely practical and encouraging, Opening Your Heart is the perfect starting point as you seek to grow closer to God.

Touching the Divine

WWP-TTDTouching the Divine draws us into a deeper relationship with Jesus as we reflect on Christ’s personality. Knowing Him more intimately will increase our love for Him. St. John referred to himself as “the disciple whom Jesus loved.” As we study, John will teach us how much Christ loves us and how His love is the true satisfaction of our souls.

Childcare will be available. For more information please visit www.walkingwithpurpose.com or contact StPatsWWP@gmail.com

What People Are Saying

“Walking With Purpose has truly opened doors for me that I never imagined. Besides being overwhelmed by women sitting around talking about God and Faith, it has been the root of my journey to enjoy and respect women without feeling like I need to compete! The bible, through the way Walking with Purpose presents it, has become a means to feel God’s love for me and that has translated into expressing that love to my family most of all, but as a mission it is to help other women truly find that LOVE that God has for them.” ~ Participant St. Patrick’s WWP
